Happy vs Un

The scale that balances the two is leaning
heavily on the "Un" side of things..
My life is un-raveling.
Deep changes are taking place and I'm not at
all happy about most of them.
With my son cleaning his room and packing the
items of his youth away, I feel unprepared to
face the silence that will soon fill the spaces
that he does now, and has for the past 18+ years.
Spaces so wonderfully filled with his laughter,
stories, questions and observations on life..
